Why it matters: It's the latest project from Giorgios Group, one of the most active restaurant groups in the Triangle, with more than a dozen restaurants now stretching from Chapel Hill to Wilmington.
Driving the news: East End Bistrot's executive chef William D'Auvray will be the managing partner of the market. He'll design the menu for the cafe.
What to expect: D'Auvray is pitching the market as a place to buy everything from gelato or coffee to prepared hot foods and sandwiches.
The market will include a butcher, a selection of wines and food products from Mediterranean and Asian cuisine.
The market will also share a private dining room with East End Bistrot that can be reserved.
Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 8am-9pm.
Sunday, 10am-3pm.
Of note: Breakfast hours start Thursday, but lunch will begin on Oct. 2 and dinner on Oct. 9.
