Savannah Bananas returning to Phoenix in 2027

• The Savannah Bananas will play the Party Animals at Chase Field on May 14 and 15.
• The 2027 tour will take the Banana Ball league's six teams to 74 cities in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Yes, but: Tickets aren't easy to come by. If you want to see the Bananas, you have to sign up for their ticket lottery, which is open through Oct. 31.

The intrigue: Banana Ball is a much wackier version of regular baseball that adds novelty rules, dancing umpires, stunts and comedy bits to actual game play.

Flashback: Two other Banana Ball teams — the Firefighters and the Texas Tailgaters — faced off in Scottsdale this year, but the Savannah Bananas themselves haven't played in the Valley since February 2025.
