Angie's is adding nine new Arizona locations

• Seven new restaurants are coming to Goodyear, Mesa, Phoenix and Queen Creek.
• Casa Grande and Maricopa will get their first Angie's locations as well.

Zoom in: The first three restaurants will open in the next six weeks.

• Co-owner Tony Christofellis tells Axios those locations will be at 19th and Glendale avenues and 19th Avenue and Baseline Road in Phoenix, and at Alma School and Guadalupe roads in Mesa.
• There's no timeline for the openings of the other six stores, some of which could stretch into 2027.

The big picture: There are currently 22 Angie's locations in Arizona, with 14 in the Valley, six in Tucson and two in Flagstaff and Prescott Valley.

Background: Christofellis and his wife founded Salad and Go in 2013, and went on to launch Angie's after selling the drive-through salad chain in 2021.

• Angie's announced via Instagram last week that it'll hire as many displaced Salad and Go employees as it can.
