Tuesday is 602 Day, and we've got your cheat sheet to taking advantage of all the revelry and savings across the Valley.
Why it matters: The civic-pride-inspired holiday lets us support local businesses as they enter their slow summer season — while scoring great deals.
Catch up quick: The city officially began celebrating 602 Day (an ode to Phoenix's first area code) on June 2, 2024, with 100 businesses offering discounts, special events and more.
This year, there are more than 400 participants.

Food and drinks
🍩 Breakfast treats: Stop in to First Draft Book Bar, Fair Trade Cafe, Infusion Coffee & Tea or Luana's Coffee & Beer for a $6.02 pastry-and-coffee deal.
- Or grab a dozen from Randy's Donuts for $6.02 off.
🥪 Lunch specials: $6.02 will get you a sandwich combo at Cheese 'N Stuff, a hot dog special at Miracle Mile Deli, or a milkshake and fries at Aioli Burger.
🍺 Beer: $6.02 pours are on tap at Greenwood Brewing, Huss Brewing, Pedal Haus Brewery, Wren House Brewing and Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co., which has brewed a special 602 Day beer for the occasion.
🍸 Happy hour: If cocktails are more your speed, check out the specials at Barcoa Agaveria, Funky Frida's, Little Woody, Swizzle Inn or Thunderbird Lounge.
Things to do
Score $6.02 admission to these Valley staples:
- Phoenix Zoo (plus, they're opening early at 6:02am)

🧠 Pro tip: Last year the zoo was, well, a zoo, with families trying to take advantage of the killer deal.
- But the Desert Botanical Garden next door was much less busy, and it's also a steal.

The fun doesn't have to end when the sun sets. Purchase $6.02 tickets Tuesday for these events later in the year:
🎡 Arizona State Fair: Applies to any day of the fair (Oct. 1-Nov. 1).
🏈 Arizona Rattlers: For games on June 14, June 27 or July 11.
⚾ Arizona Diamondbacks: For the June 15-17 series against the Los Angeles Angels.
