Local artist Edward Ward followed up his painting of the Valley's last mission-style Taco Bell with a rendition of its more modern successor.
State of play: The closure of the Phoenix area's last remaining old-school Taco Bell, near McDowell and Hayden roads, inspired Ward, a Casa Grande retiree, to immortalize it on canvas earlier this year.
Plus, he was kind of enough to share his latest work that took its place.
