Four Arizona and Arizona State players looking to make waves at the NFL Combine

How it works: 329 college football players will undergo physical and mental evaluations in front of NFL coaches, general managers and scouts.

Zoom in: Invited to the combine this year are:

• UofA's Tetairoa McMillan (wide receiver);
• Jonah Savaiinaea (offensive lineman);
• Tyler Loop (kicker);
• Plus, of course, ASU's Cam Skattebo (running back).

Of the three Wildcats, McMillan will almost certainly be drafted first. The 6-foot-5 standout isn't anticipated to blow anyone away with his 40-yard-dash time this weekend; but he is so talented at going up and getting the football he's expected to be one of the first 15 players taken in the NFL Draft.

• Savaiinaea could be another first-round draft pick, per Pro Football Network, as teams should be intrigued by his ability to play either guard or tackle.
• Rarely more than a few kickers are taken each draft, so Loop will likely land with a team as an undrafted free agent.

The intrigue: Skattebo could go anywhere from the third to the sixth round depending on how he tests this weekend.

• He's not particularly fast for a running back, but the bruiser still has an appealing skill set. "I don't know if I've ever seen a more aggressive runner who just seeks out contact and can absorb contact," draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah said, per the Arizona Republic.
