The NFL is in its offseason but the journey to the 2025 NFL Draft begins this weekend.
Why it matters: The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, which starts Thursday in Indianapolis, is a college athlete's shot at potentially landing a spot in the NFL Draft.
How it works: 329 college football players will undergo physical and mental evaluations in front of NFL coaches, general managers and scouts for a chance to be included in the NFL Draft.
By the numbers: Ohio State has the most representation with 15 players, followed by Texas and Georgia with 14 players each.
- The SEC (105), Big Ten (79), ACC (60) and Big 12 (46) are the top four conferences represented this year.
What TV channel is the 2025 NFL combine on?
The Combine will be live on the NFL Network and each position will be evaluated (all times in ET):
- Feb. 27, 3pm: Defensive linemen and linebackers
- Feb. 28, 3pm: Defensive backs and tight ends
- March 1, 1pm: Quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers
- March 2, 1pm: Offensive linemen

Players to watch in the 2025 NFL combine
There are several standout players across conferences, including Colorado's Travis Hunter, the reigning Heisman Trophy winner; Bosie State's Ashton Jeanty, who led the FBS in rushing yards; Miami's Cam Ward, who won ACC Player of the Year; Michigan's All-American Mason Graham; and Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Abdul Carter.
What's next: The 2025 NFL Draft will take place April 24–26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
