π Enjoy the Delaware Riverfront at the Glen Foerd estate in Northeast Philly today for its monthly Third Thursday event.
- Food and drink (pay as you go), lawn games, arts and crafts, and music are on the agenda. And don't forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair. 6-8pm
π©° The Philly Ballet puts on an outdoor show at Dilworth Park outside City Hall today from 6-7pm.

π¦ It's pay-what-you-wish at the Academy of Natural Sciences on Friday from 5-8pm for the museum's Dinos After Dark event.
- There's a beer garden for the adults along with food vendors, while kids can explore the museum, chat with academy scientists and take in a story time.
π‘ Summerfest opens for the season on Friday! New this year to the daily festival on the Delaware River waterfront are interactive soccer games, a family fun zone and cabanas.
- Also expect rollerskating, minigolf, and amusement rides and games (all pay-as-you-go).
π£ Spruce Street Harbor Park also opens on Friday. New this year are water bicycles and larger swan boats (pay-as-you-go).
- What else: Concert series, food and drink vendors, hammocks to lounge in, and waterfront vibes.
π The Devon Horse Show & Country Fair opens today and runs through May 31 in Devon. Get ready for fox hunting, steeplechases, horse jumping and other horse exhibitions.

πΊπΈ Museum of the American Revolution has a packed Mem Day weekend. Starting Saturday, look for daily talks, walking tours, activities and first-person performances.

π° Hear ye, hear ye! The Philly Renaissance Faire is Saturday-Monday at Fort Mifflin in Southwest Philly.
- Each day from 11am-6pm, transport yourself to the times of yore and take in armored knights battling, 60+ vendors, costume contests, minstrels, archery, javelin tossing and a petting zoo.
π― It'll be a beautiful day at the Please Touch Museum when the new Daniel Tiger exhibit opens on Saturday. Kids can play instruments, write thank-you notes, read a book in O the Owl's Reading Nest, and dress up as their favorite characters. Runs through mid-September.
- Tickets: $2-$24 (access to the exhibit included with general admission)
π₯ Laurel Hill East is putting on its annual Memorial Day ceremony and parade on Sunday from 11:30am-2pm. Expect speeches, wreath-laying, music and honor guards.
