๐ Celebrate Philly Flag Day today from noon-1pm. The annual event, marking what's likely the first official city flag in the U.S., is set for the north apron of City Hall, where you'll find music, giveaways and award ceremony.
๐ธ It's cherry blossom time! Philly's Cherry Blossom Festival is Saturday and Sunday at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center.
- Count on vendor fair, food court, tea ceremony, face painting, calligraphy station, a scavenger hunt and other activities. Tickets: $5-$20; kids under 12 are free.
๐๏ธ Adventure Aquarium in Camden unveils its new Boardwalk exhibit on Saturday. This shore-inspired exhibit will feature face painting, horseshoe crabs, interactive experiences and caricature artists.
๐ฉบ This week's "Firstival" spotlights a light on the first medical school in America, with a party at Penn Medicine's Clifton Center for Medical Breakthroughs in West Philly. Expect family friendly activities, live music and giveaways.
๐ป Raise a glass at the Drink the Delaware festival on Saturday from 4-9pm at the Independence Seaport Museum. This fest will feature more than a dozen breweries, cideries and distilleries, plus live music and food vendors.

๐ฆ Let the kids stay up late on Saturday at the Penn Museum. Up Late with the Sphinx runs from 5-10pm, where kids can do hands-on workshops, take a flashlight tour, and play games. (This even is best suited for children aged 6-12.)

๐ The World Oddities Expo sets up shop in the at the Pennsylvania Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday. This traveling festival showcases all-things weird and macabre โ vendors, performers, dissection and terrariuym workshops, taxidermy class and guest speakers.

๐ Port Richmond is throwing a double birthday bash on Saturday โย America's 250th anniversary and the neighborhood's 179th birthday. So check out Campbell Square between noon-5pm for food trucks, live music, games and fun.
