👁️ Ministry of the Awe. The title captures it well: A vacant 19th-century bank in Old City, designed by Victorian architect Frank Furness, has been transformed into an imaginative, choose-your-own-adventure playground.
- The six-story experience gives a nod to the nation's 250th birthday with living, breathing installations — including "The Heavens," a "celestial chamber" where visitors can contribute their own offerings.
- Opens Saturday. Timed tickets: $29.99 adults, $19.99 for kids (3-13), $24.99 seniors
🧮 Have a slice of fun on Pi Day (Saturday). Mathnasium hosts free Pi Day celebrations this weekend at its Philly-area learning centers.
- Events include free pizza, prices, hands-on STEM activities and crafts.
🎨 InLiquid is hosting a free March for Art DESIGNtrunk show on Saturday from 12–4pm at the Crane Arts Building, spotlighting designers like John Wind Jewelry and Prajjé.
🐝 Spring is in the air. Take advantage of the beautiful weather by taking a witchhazel tour at Morris Arboretum and Gardens. Saturday at 11am.
- Tour is free with general admission tickets: $20 adults, $10 kids (3-17), $18 seniors
🌠 1 recommendation: Isaac here! I don't personally vouch for something unless I think readers will genuinely love it. Trust me on this one: Beautifica is worth the drive to Reading's Neag Planetarium.
- It's a hypnagogic trip — no LSD required. A geometric explosion. Fractals boom overhead like fireworks inside the quiet dome. Galactic guitar riffs sync with soft, jazzy rock.
- Part meditation retreat, part stargazing session, part sensory overload. Saturday at 5:30pm and 6:45pm. Tickets: $39.99+
