How to watch Philadelphia's 2025 Thanksgiving Day Parade

State of play: The 6ABC Dunkin' Thanksgiving Day Parade runs from 9am-noon.

• This year's theme is Holiday Magic.
• A pre-parade special starts at 8:30am.

📺 Watch: 6ABC will air the parade live.

• Stream the show on Hulu, 6ABC's apps, and ABC News Live.

What to expect:

• Large, inflatable balloons — think the pilgrim turkey, Daniel Tiger and Santa's Holiday Express
• Floats
• Marching bands
• Musical performances, including by Cameo, Jordin Sparks and Bianca Ryan.

Plus: Special guests include Carson Kressley ("Queer Eye for the Straight Guy"), Eagles cheerleaders and Sam Champion, a weather correspondent for "GMA."

Zoom in: The parade kicks off at 20th and JFK Boulevard before turning onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and passing the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum.

🚧 Detours: Road closures are in effect today around Eakins Oval, and along parts of the Parkway and JFK Boulevard.

• On Thursday, streets along and near the parade route will be closed to traffic, including Kelly Drive from Sedgley Drive to Eakins Oval.

• Roads are expected to be reopened by 3pm on Thursday.

🅿️ Temporary no-parking signs are already posted along the route.

• Vehicles parked in those locations during posted hours will be relocated.

🚇 SEPTA is operating on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, and buses along the route will be detoured.

• Some bus routes will be canceled, including the 204, 310 and LUCY.
