π It's First Friday! Count on special events and exhibits at galleries, showrooms and shops across the city.
π The Fringe Festival has performances, film screenings, installations and even a circus sideshow on tap through Sept. 28 at venues across the city. Times and prices vary.
π The Philadelphia Market Place reopens today in Dilworth Park outside City Hall with 20+ vendors. Open from noon-6pm on Fridays and Saturdays through Sept. 27.
- While you're there, check out the new interactive "Water Orchestra" installation at the park's fountain.
πΈ The 20/20 Photo Festival will bring together all-things cameras through Sept. 11. Programing includes exhibits, workshops and artist talks.
π A new exhibit highlights the art of traditional Japanese flowering arranging at the Shofuso Japanese Cultural Center in West Fairmount Park. The exhibit runs 11am-5pm through Sunday.

π Head over to Germantown's Wyck House on Saturday for the annual Honey Festival from 10am-4pm.
- Be prepared for vendors, demos, a plant sale and plenty of activities for children.
π The Mushroom Festival takes over Kennett Square this weekend. Hit up State Street for mushroom eating contests, vendors, kids activities, exhibits, music and demos.
- Saturday from 10am-6pm, Sunday from 9am-4pm.
πͺπΉ The Ethiopian Day Festival sets up at the Clark Park Bowl in West Philly from noon-6pm on Saturday. The fest includes music and vendors, with facepainting and a moon bounce for children.
πΆπ½Car-free streets in Rittenhouse are back on Sunday from 10am-5pm. Look for retail deals at local businesses and specials at restaurants, plus mini golf, live music and a stilt walker.
