Center City SIPS returns with weekly happy hour specials

Weekly summer-time happy hour specials in Center City are back starting today.

Why it matters: Center City SIPS is returning for its 21st season, offering deals at more than 90 bars and restaurants throughout Philly's main business district.

That includes Prunella, Garage Rittenhouse and Vintage Wine Bar, along with newbies like Flight Club and F1 Arcade.

How it works: Score $7 cocktails, $6 wines, and $5 beers along with half-priced apps between 5-7pm on Wednesdays through Aug. 27.

After 7pm, certain businesses will offer 15% off dinner.

What else: A free 2000s-themed launch party is tonight from 5-8pm at Dilworth Park beside City Hall.

Expect music from DJ Nico Oso and giveaways.
VIP tickets are $100; Friends and Family Section tickets are $50.
