The Eagles are top Bird, and every opponent on their 2025 schedule will be looking to knock them out of the roost.
Why it matters: The road to repeat Super Bowl championships is practically a rumble strip, with Philly squaring off against 10 playoff teams from last year.
Here are the matchups Philly fans are most amped about:
Week 1: Eagles vs. Cowboys
Call it the "Deluded Dak" game. The Birds get to face their biggest NFC East rivals out of the gates.
The intrigue: It's like the NFL powers immediately wanted to test that ridiculous claim Dallas QB Dak Prescott made about how his 7-10 team is "very close" to the Lombardi Trophy-hoisting Eagles.
- It'll pit the Eagles' stellar, revamped defense against the Cowboys' star QB, who is coming back from an injury that sidelined him most of last season.
Flashback for Dak: The Eagles handily won both matchups against Dallas last season by a combined score of 75-13.
The bottom line: Yep, very close.
Week 2: Eagles at Chiefs
Remember the Eagles? You bet they do. The Chiefs will be looking to play early-season spoiler while turning the page on that ugly Super Bowl loss.
- Meanwhile, Eagles fans are cueing up that "Who's your daddy" clip from "Remember the Titans."
Weeks 13: Eagles vs. Bears
Here's something to be thankful for: A Birds Black Friday matchup against Da Bears, led by QB Caleb Williams.
Week 15: Eagles vs. Raiders
The Birds definitely have a chip on their shoulder for this one.
The intrigue: Former Eagles head coach, Chip Kelly, is now the Raiders' offensive coordinator.
Week 17: Eagles at Bills
Brrrrr! We're getting cold just thinking about this one. Chances of snow: likely.
- Chances of an instant classic with potential playoff seeding implications on the line: also likely.
Week 18: Eagles vs. Commanders
Closing out the season with a buzz saw. The Birds know how tough Jayden Daniels and Co. are, especially late in the year.
- We enter last year's late-game 36-33 meltdown as Exhibit A.
