A new motorsports bar F1 Arcade is set to open in Center City on May 29.
Why it matters: Get ready to live out your Formula 1 fantasies.
Driving the news: The massive arcade at 1330 Chestnut St. will boast 80 high-tech, full-motion Formula 1 racing simulators.
- Groups of four or more can split up and compete in team racing, while smaller groups can go head-to-head.
- You can also adjust skill levels, which run from rookie to elite.
Zoom in: The space also has a restaurant and bar with themed cocktails and mocktails, as well as upscale foods, including seafood towers, wagyu beef sliders and birria tacos.
Zoom out: Philly is the third F1 Arcade location in the U.S., behind Boston and Washington D.C.
- The London-based business is expanding to dozens of cities in the U.S., including Las Vegas and Denver.
