The intrigue: There's a gender gap between men and women: 71.4% of women don't have a ring, compared to about 66% of men.
How it works: These figures include people who have never been married, plus those who were married at one point but have since divorced, separated or been widowed.
Zoom out: Finding a partner throughout the Philly region and the state is more challenging. Only about half of the state's 20-and-older residents are unmarried.
