Halloween is going to be scarily warm in Philadelphia

While rain has been MIA for more than a month, Philly's trick-or-treaters will have perfect weather conditions on Thursday.

What to expect: The high will be near 80, with increasing clouds and lows in the mid-60s.

Showers aren't expected until around 2am Friday morning — well after trick-or-treating is wrapped up.

The big picture: October temperatures in Philly have been creeping upwards in recent decades, per an analysis from Climate Central.

Overnight low temps have risen 5.8 degrees on average between 1970-2023, per the nonprofit.
