Northwest Arkansas National Airport will add daily nonstop service to Newark Liberty International Airport, giving XNA more one-stop access to international destinations, the airport said Thursday.
The big picture: The route expands XNA's nonstop network to 28 destinations.
It adds another option for business and leisure travelers heading to the New York City metro.
United Airlines will operate the daily service, with tickets and full schedule information available through United, according to the airport.
State of play: XNA's route growth follows a record run in passenger traffic. It set a new monthly record in June, with 129,045 passengers boarding planes.
The airport had 630,275 enplanements in the first half of 2026, up 5.3% from the same period in 2025.
There were 1.2 million enplanements in 2025, following the first time it topped 1 million in 2024.
Travelers flew out of XNA more often than Clinton National Airport in Little Rock in 2025 for the first time.
