Bentoville Food Theater now booking

Zoom in: The center stage is like a traditional sushi bar with counter-prepped items. It's now serving early summer temaki, "a parade of bright, briny fish at their seasonal debut, hand-rolled in front of you in crisp sheets of nori" ($60-$75 per person).

• A chef stage backs up to a full kitchen and is designed to accommodate rotating menu concepts and visiting chefs. It's now serving Tokushima whirlpool ramen, described as a dark, soy-rich meat broth with sweet-braised pork belly and egg yolk, paired with firm medium-thick noodles ($20-$35 per person).
• And there is the grill stage, focused on yakitori, robata and small grilled plates. It's now serving an early-summer robata of vegetables and cuts of meat seared over Japanese charcoal ($60-$75 per person).

The offerings run through June 29 on all three stages and will be followed by a midsummer menu.

The bottom line: Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are recommended.
