Monday Munchies: Desi Fusion in Springdale

I never would have put falafel and Indian curry together on the dinner table, but Desi Fusion is here to do it for me.
🇮🇳 State of play: The Springdale restaurant is serving Indian and Mediterranean fusion, but you'll find more Indian staples than Mediterranean on the menu.
🍛 What to try: I can't resist a good chicken korma. You shouldn't, either, if you like a nutty, light curry. The vindaloo is especially tomatoey, and the lamb in it was tender and not too fatty.
- 🧆 The falafel appetizer is a must-try if you're not already getting an entree with falafel. It featured five crispy doughnut-style versions along with hummus.
🌶️ Threat level: Don't fear going for a higher spice level here if you're confident in your tolerance. I got medium on both curries, and while they had a nice kick, I could have used more.
📍 Stop by: 11am-3pm and 5-9pm Monday through Thursday, 11am-3pm and 5-10pm Friday and Saturday at 2576 W. Sunset Ave. in Springdale.
