Monday Munchies: Springdale's Simply Scoop

Here's something short and sweet.

The setup: After spending a warm afternoon working outside in downtown Springdale, the fairly new Simply Scoops across the street looked pretty appealing.

Dig in: I'm a sucker for anything red velvet; not sure why.

This single scoop ($5.25) was creamy, cakey and oh, so very good.
I love ice cream (it hates me). Though I'm looking for a little sugar when going for it, this cup wasn't too much and hit the right balance of sweetness.

The bottom line: It's hard for any ice cream to stack up against a simple dip of Braum's mint chocolate chip, a fave of our editor Chloe Gonzales, but I'll be back to Simply Scoops this summer to see what other flavors it has to offer.
