The Agenda: Goose control, bus stop work

Springdale will vote on:

🪿 Spending $7,200 to expand goose control services, which are only used at Murphy, to Shaw Family Park. A dog handler with Flock Fighters Goose Control will periodically visit the park with trained herding border collies to prevent geese habitation, according to city documents.

🚧 Buying land on East Hunters Ridge Road for about $164,350 for the Albright Road extension improvement project.

🚲 Adopting names for four trail routes:

• Peaceful Valley Trail for the route along 40th Street between the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Nature Center and Emma Avenue.
• Rabbit Foot Trail for the segment between Backus Avenue and Lake Springdale.
• Shiloh Trail for the route between Pleasant Street and Butterfield Coach Road.
• County Line Trail for the new route to be constructed as part of the County Line Road extension project.
