Walton Arts Center announces Broadway lineup

Attention theatergoers — mark your calendars. Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville has its 2026-27 Broadway series lined up.

🗓️ How it works: The following six shows are included in a Walton Arts Center subscription. Subscribers also get early access to purchase tickets for the four "bonus shows." Anyone can purchase a ticket to a single show when they go on sale to the public.

🚬 "The Outsiders" — Catch the 1960s coming-of-age story.

Sept. 1-6

🇨🇺 "Buena Vista Social Club" — A formerly popular Cuban singer receives an opportunity from a young record producer.

Dec. 15-20

💌 "The Notebook" — The romance between two people of different backgrounds that inspired the 2004 film is on stage.

Feb. 24-28, 2027

🏔️ "The Sound of Music" — Catch the classic tale and songs of the Von Trapp family. It's a strict household until Maria, the nun-turned-governess, comes along in 1930s Austria.

April 13-18, 2027

🪖 "Operation Mincemeat" — This new musical is about a secret mission during World War II.

May 25-30, 2027

🎤 "Just in Time" — Hear singer Bobby Darin's hits in this new musical about his life.

July 6-11

🎭 "Jersey Boys" — Nov. 27-29

👢 "Kinky Boots" — April 30-May 2, 2027

👻 "Beetlejuice" — June 4-6, 2027
