Israel yesterday said it had obtained the remains of Ran Gvili, the last hostage who was captured by Hamas in the deadly attacks of Oct. 7, 2023.
"Since I've been here as ambassador, I've been wearing this pin on my lapel. It is a sign of solidarity with the hostages," U.S. Ambassador to Israel and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee said in a post to X yesterday.
"But today, thank God, I take this pen off because there are no more hostages in Gaza with the return of Ran Gvili to his family today … I will get rid of it, and I pray I never see it again."
