Monday Munchies: Townie Burgers and Bevvies

🍔 What to try: Big shock — you should get a burger. The Chickenette ($16) was a perfectly good fried chicken sandwich, but it had nothing on the Inna Jam ($18) beef burger with sauteed mushrooms, bacon jam, cheese, house A1 and lettuce.

• It was juicy but not overly greasy, and the toppings were generous.
• The fries are nice and crispy here, so you won't go wrong with the classic side ($5). But you can opt for onion rings, tortilla chips or shell bean salad.
• You can also sub beef for veggie patties and a regular bun for a gluten-free one.

🍹 What to skip: The only thing I wouldn't order again is another specialty cocktail. I had the Broken Spoke ($14) with rye whiskey, orange bitters, maple syrup, orange and cherry and was disappointed with the quality. I'd stick to a $5 beer next time.
