The Fayetteville City Council's regular meeting tonight includes decisions on:

👮 Accepting a $250,000 federal Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) hiring program grant to hire two new school resource officers for Fayetteville Public Schools for four years.

The total cost is $792,072. The school district would contribute $348,937, and the city would pay $193,135.

🚧 Paying $871,026 for the construction of the Greenway Trail connection associated with the Park Hotel project on West Spring Street.
