What we're sipping: A cozy cocktail for your next intermission

The theater won't give you any drama if you only come for the drinks.

🎭 State of play: Don't overlook our professional theater company, TheatreSquared's, bar and café, The Commons. Besides being an inviting space for those planning to see a play, it's also a cool downtown Fayetteville space to grab food, coffee or drinks — with or without a show ticket.

Sometimes, what's on stage appears on the menu with themed drinks.

🍂 What to try: The Nice Chai ($10) on the seasonal menu has all the fall stuff I want in a glass, plus vodka. Bailey's, pumpkin spice, chai — oh my.

The pumpkin didn't make it into the name of the cocktail, but thankfully it did make it into the flavor.

📍 Stop by: 10am-10pm Tuesday through Saturday and 11am-5pm Sunday at 477 W. Spring St. in Fayetteville.
