We're more than a week into October, making it officially spooky season. Here's how to avoid missing out this year.
🍾 Hit up bars and parties
🍸 Nightmare on Block Street — This Halloween-themed pop-up bar at Pinpoint in downtown Fayetteville is back until Nov. 2.
🥂 Ghoul's Night Out — Put on your costume and check out participating businesses in downtown Springdale for specials and pop-ups. 5pm to midnight Oct. 17.
🏳️🌈 Big Gay Halloween — The Big Gay Market is hosting a dance party with horror-themed drag performances, a costume contest and movie trivia from 7-11:30pm Oct. 18 at Ozark Music Hall in Fayetteville. Get tickets for $30-$70.
🪩 Halloween Party at The Momentary — Enjoy live music, art installations and a costume contest. 8pm Oct. 24. Get tickets for $20 or $16 for museum members.
🥃 Halloween Pub Crawl — Have a drink in costume at participating bars in downtown Fayetteville on Oct. 25.
🍹 Crawl-O-Ween Bar Crawl — Bar hop starting at 5pm Oct. 25 in downtown Bentonville.
🕺 Halloween Dance — Come alone, with friends or with a date for all kinds of dancing. 7pm Halloween. Get tickets for $20 or $18 for museum members.
🎬 Have a movie night
🧹 "Hocus Pocus" screening — Grab some popcorn and settle in around 7pm Oct. 24 at Luther George Park in Springdale.
💋 "Rocky Horror Picture Show" screening — Come dressed for this interactive showing of the cult classic that's 50 years old this year. 4pm Oct. 26 at The Momentary. Get tickets for $15 or $12 for museum members.
🧙♀️ "The Craft" screening — 7pm Halloween at Walton Arts Center. Get tickets for $10.
👻 "Scream" screening — 9:30pm Halloween at Walton Arts Center. Get tickets for $10.
🧒 Bring the kids
🚂 HalloZing — Children's interactive museum, The Scott Family Amazeum in Bentonville, is hosting a sensory-friendly night with science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) activities. 6-8pm Oct. 25. Get tickets for $2. Children under 2 years old get in for free.
🎃 Springdale Halloween Fest — Take the kids for carnival games and candy 4-7pm Oct. 25 at Luther George Park.
🍬 Trick-or-Treat at Bentonville Farmers Market — The event is bright and early Oct. 25.
🎨 Trick Art Treat — Take the kids for a mix of artmaking activities and trick or treating around Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art from 10am-3pm Oct. 26.
🕵 Ghost Hunt — Take part in an interactive story where you solve mysteries around Fayetteville, hosted by Fever. Get tickets for $10 for 4pm Oct. 30-Nov. 2.
🍭 Trick-or-Treat on the Trail — The Lower Ramble in downtown Fayetteville will be all about the kids from 4-6:30pm on Halloween.
🍫 Goblin Candy Crawl — Take the kids trick or treating at participating spots 3:30-5:30pm on Halloween in downtown Rogers.
