NWA has a new food truck serving dairy-free ice cream that you'll want to try, regardless of whether dairy is your friend or not.
🍦State of play: T'oats Delish makes its ice cream using oat milk. Its cones are also gluten free, making it an easy dessert go-to for anyone with dietary restrictions.
🍨 Zoom in: The menu is straightforward with vanilla, chocolate or vanilla/chocolate swirl plus a rotating specialty flavor (right now, it's pumpkin pie) plus your choice from a long list of toppings.
- A few novel options are on the menu too, like apple pie nachos.
🍪 What to try: Vanilla ice cream with your favorite toppings. I got the cup — the lil' softie ($4) — with Oreos and chocolate syrup. It was creamy but a little lighter than traditional ice cream, and I didn't miss the dairy.
