Devil's Den double homicide suspect arrested

Police have arrested a Springdale man in connection with a double homicide that happened on Saturday at Devil's Den State Park in Washington County, according to a news release from Arkansas State Police.

Driving the news: Andrew James McGann, 28, was charged with two counts of capital murder after being taken into custody around 5pm Wednesday in Springdale, according to police.

The latest: Officials declined to discuss a possible motive during a press conference Wednesday night.

Catch up quick: Clinton David Brink and Cristen Amanda Brink were hiking with their 7- and 9-year-old daughters when they were attacked, police said. The children were not injured.
