Search continues for suspect in Devil's Den double homicide

• The FBI's Little Rock office is assisting Arkansas State Police with its investigation, office spokesperson Jessica Franklin told Axios.
• All trails at Devil's Den remain closed, according to Arkansas State Parks' website.

Zoom in: The suspect is described as a white man of medium build, last seen wearing a rolled-up long-sleeve shirt, dark pants, a dark ballcap, sunglasses and fingerless gloves. He carried a black backpack and may have been injured during the attack.

• Police say he was seen leaving Devil's Den State Park in a black, four-door sedan — possibly a Mazda — with license plates covered by electrical or duct tape. The car may have been on State Highway 170 or 220 near the park.

Catch up quick: Clinton David Brink and Cristen Amanda Brink were hiking with their 7- and 9-year-old daughters when they were attacked, police said. The children were not injured.

• The couple had recently moved to Prairie Grove from out of state.

What they're saying: "We are heartbroken by today's horrific news from Devil's Den State Park and are in close contact with State Police and the Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism as they work to apprehend the suspect," Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders posted on X on Saturday.
