Monday Munchies: Dinner and cocktails at Hail Fellow Well Met

I've been sold on Hail Fellow Well Met's breakfast for some time and finally smartened up enough to get dinner there.
😎 State of play: This restaurant in Johnson has a gorgeous interior and a spacious outdoor covered patio where you simply must go some summer evening for drinks and small plates to share.
🍽 What to try: The roasted butternut squash ($22) is a mashup of flavors I have never experienced all together — coconut green curry, garlic, mint, cilantro, pickled onion and jalapeno. It's a lot, but it works. And it makes for a really satisfying vegetarian dinner.
- For something more familiar but not any less exciting, try the pork belly fries ($17) or the whipped farmers cheese ($15) that comes with honey and plenty of naan.
- Those fries are no joke, with thick cuts of pork and a creamy sauce — I highly recommend sharing.
🍹 Zoom out: I scoped out both classic and specialty cocktails just for you and can report Hail Fellow Well Met knows how to make a drink.
- My fave was the Feelin' Blue ($13) with tequila, aperol, blueberry, lavender and rice vinegar.
📍 Stop by: "PM menu" small plates are offered 2-6pm Monday through Wednesday and 2-9pm Thursday through Friday. Dinner is served 2pm-9pm Thursday through Saturday at 5519 Hackett Road Suite 101 in Springdale.
