Planners seek input on Razorback Greenway

The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission (NWARPC) is looking for input on its Razorback Greenway Corridor Plan.

The big picture: The plan will help guide future development along the trail, including mixed-use areas, development of accessible housing near the trail and improving connectivity for walking and cycling.

• The commission received a grant from the Walton Family Foundation's Northwest Arkansas Design Excellence Program to develop the plan.

What they're saying: "This is an important moment — as our population moves toward 1 million by 2050, the Greenway can play a bigger role in how we connect, commute and grow together," Tim Reavis with NWARPC said in a news release.

What to know: Public input will be collected through an online survey through May 31.

• Commission members will be at the 2025 Square 2 Square Spring Bike Ride from Bentonville to Fayetteville from 7am-2pm Saturday to answer questions.
