I recently ended a workweek on the right note — by meeting a friend at Ashleigh Wine and Sake Lounge in Rogers.
😌 The vibe: Well, that's one of the best parts. The plush seating curved around a table made it a place to linger and chat over wine and bites, and the indigo hues and bold artwork were aesthetically pleasing.
- I definitely want another girls' night here.
🍸 What to try: Sample your choice of wine or saké, or go for a saké cocktail like the Goon-Jo ($12). I'm generally not a big fan of this Japanese rice wine, but I enjoyed sipping it mixed into this lemon drink.
🍽 Zoom out: Share a small plate like the a charcuterie board or a toasted flatbread ($24) with cayenne honey, arugula, grapes, butternut squash, prosciutto and pecans.
- With plates like braised short rib bourguignon and seared scallops, you can easily assemble dinner.
🗓 What's next: Keep an eye out on Ashleigh's social media for special events. The lounge has periodically hosted special dinners and tastings.
