What we're sipping: The best fall coffee is in Bentonville

The temperature outside hasn't acknowledged that it's fall, but you can still take yourself out for a pumpkin spice latte or another autumn-themed coffee in defiance.

☕️ State of play: I had truly one of the most delightful specialty coffee drinks at Red Kite Coffee Company — the Gold Dust Woman ($6.50). It's a latte with caramel and pistachio syrup topped with black salt. It wasn't too sweet or syrupy, and the pistachio flavor hits right.

🎃 Zoom out: The fall menu includes Red Kite's version of a classic pumpkin spice latte (called Rhiannon) and others representing tastes of autumn like maple syrup.

The vibe: The coffee shop is on the first floor of the Crystal Flats apartment complex in Bentonville near Crystal Bridges. It's a clean aesthetic with white walls and a minimalist mural.

📍 Stop by: 7am-6pm Monday through Friday and 7:30am-5:30pm Saturday and Sunday 1401 NE John Deshields Blvd. Unit 125 in Bentonville.

Red Kite also has locations on North Crossover Road in Fayetteville and West Sunset Avenue in Springdale.
