The Agenda: Fayetteville City Council to consider step for College Avenue

The Fayetteville City Council meets tonight. Here are a few highlights:

• Rezoning about 586 acres along U.S. 71B primarily on North College and School avenues to a new zoning district called Urban Corridor plus residential single-family, four units per acre. The zoning overhaul is part of a larger plan intended to improve one of the main corridors in the city, including by allowing housing to be built there.
