I recently grabbed a flight at GoatLab Brewery
Why it matters: Lowell is smack dab in the middle of NWA and can definitely use more places like breweries and restaurants to liven up the after-work scene.
- Plus it made for an easy meetup spot for this Bella Vista resident who wanted to see a Fayetteville friend.
The brewery is owned by the same folks behind The Grove Comedy Club in Lowell.
The vibe: It's a casual taproom where you can grab beers and snack on charcuterie or order a pizza and hang for hours.
What to try: I'd tell my fellow IPA fans to try the IPA with "strong grapefruit and tangerine aroma." But for those with less hoppy tastes, go for the Vienna Lager.
Stop by: 3-9pm Tuesday through Thursday, 11am-11pm Friday and Saturday, noon-6pm Sunday at 722 S. Bloomington St. in Lowell.
