👋 Alex here. I stopped by The Daily Beet, a New Orleans-based café that now has its first Arkansas spot in downtown Fayetteville.
🍌 What to try: The Almond Butter Cup smoothie ($8.25) speaks to those of us who want a nutty and slightly sweet treat without a bunch of added sugar. This one has banana, cacao, almond butter, vanilla, almond milk and agave.
Chocolate, banana and almond butter is a correct combination.
🥗 The vibe: This is a light and airy café with healthy items like salads and grain bowls that makes for a relaxing place for a workday lunch or grabbing a smoothie while you're on the go.
I welcome a good fast-casual health-conscious option where you can easily stay under $15.

🍳 All-day breakfast alert: The Daily Beet serves its breakfast menu — complete with avocado toast and a bowl with quinoa, egg and avocado — all day. Downtown can use an all-day weekday breakfast menu if you ask me.
I had the breakfast burrito ($12), which is sure to be a staple for anyone who can't resist sweet potatoes. It's also packed with scrambled eggs, avocado, black beans, cheddar, spinach, pico and sauce.
📍 Stop by: 8am-5pm daily at 339 N. West Ave. Suite 105 in Fayetteville
