Arkansas and Oklahoma transportation departments are studying the possibility of turning about 190 miles of U.S. 412 into an interstate.
Why it matters: The connection would encourage economic development along the "412 Corridor" and expand opportunities in the region.
State of play: The transportation departments will hold a public input meeting June 13 in Siloam Springs at John Brown University in Simmons Great Hall from 4-7pm.
