A handful of New Orleans restaurants are slashing prices on burgers this summer, and we've got a full list for you.
Why it matters: The only thing better than a delicious burger is a delicious, discounted burger.
The big picture: Summer is traditionally super tough for New Orleans hospitality, when the heat sends residents and tourists alike into near full retreat.
- August is also Coolinary month, when restaurants band together to offer discounted, fixed-price meals to entice diners in during an especially tough time for the businesses.
Yes, but: Not every deal is tied to that promotion; some restaurants, for example, are offering "girl dinner" discounts in a nod to the viral trend.
- We recently spotted a trend amongst restaurants offering a slew of burger deals, each of which made us hungry and excited to share it.
- Check them out below.

- The fine print: Available during happy hour, which is all day Mondays and from 4-6pm Tuesday through Friday.

π Elysian Bar: Join the "burger club" with a special weekly creation plus a side and a martini. This week's edition was $27 for a beef and hot sausage burger with fried jalapeΓ±os, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and creole mustard, plus a side option of fried potatoes or caesar salad.
- The fine print: Available every Tuesday through September. The price will change weekly, but "hover around $30," per an Elysian's rep.
