About a dozen organizations are running contests for tickets to Taylor Swift's three-night spectacular this month in New Orleans for the Eras Tour.
Why it matters: Tickets sold out during the pre-sale and resale tickets are going for at least $1,200 on StubHub.
The big picture: The shows will take place Oct. 25–27 at the Caesars Superdome. Gracie Abrams is the special guest.
- The tour is on pace to be one of the highest-grossing tours of all time.
- Tickets are hard to come by. For the New Orleans shows, you had to register in August 2023 for a lottery that month. If you were selected, you had the chance to race against other fans on Ticketmaster to buy tickets at face value.
- Those were quickly snapped up and now Swifties are left with much more expensive options on the resale market.
Zoom in: Here are a few of the ways to win tickets to the New Orleans shows. Some are contests that require you to buy a raffle ticket, while others are giveaways that require registration.

- City Hall is celebrating with an entire week of events honoring Swift and her fans.
- Southwest Airlines is adding extra flights in New Orleans for the weekend.
- And Swiftie specials and themed events are in the works for restaurants, hotels and bars that week.
