St. Patrick's Day, St. Joseph's Day parades and more things to do in New Orleans

We're getting the St. Patrick's Day party started in New Orleans this weekend.

Here's what's on tap:

💐 Art in Bloom begins public viewings Thursday at the New Orleans Museum of Art. See floral displays through Sunday. (Details)

🍀 St. Patrick's Day celebrations include:

  • The Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day block party is Thursday at Annunciation Playground from 10am to 6pm, and the parade Saturday. It rolls at 1pm. (Route)
  • The Italian American St. Joseph's Day parade rolls in the CBD and French Quarter at 6pm on Saturday. (Route)
  • Metairie's St. Patrick's Day parade rolls at noon Sunday. (Route)
  • The downtown Irish Club Parade rolls at 7pm Sunday. (Route)

🚲 Bike Easy hosts a free group class for kids learning to ride a bike from 10am to noon Saturday. (Details)

🐰 Go Easter egg hunting at the Lafitte Greenway's Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday from 9am to noon. (Details)
