The Nashville Predators will honor Tennessee icon Dolly Parton at their Saturday game with a specialty jersey featuring her name and a butterfly patch.
Zoom in: The Preds will wear the Dolly-themed versions of their "Hometown Remix uniform" during warmups ahead of the matchup with the St. Louis Blues.
- The jerseys will feature "Dolly" across the players' backs above their numbers. They will be signed and auctioned off to benefit Parton's Imagination Library and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
- Fans can buy their own butterfly patches and Parton-themed pins while supplies last.
The big picture: The Parton jerseys are a riff on the league's new Hometown Remix uniforms that feature nods to local identity. Nashville's uniforms, which will appear in 10 games this season, feature patterns that evoke classic country music stage fashion.
