"Phantom," "Harry Potter" coming to Nashville during TPAC's 2026-27 season

The Phantom is coming back to Music City.

🎭 State of plays: The Tennessee Performing Arts Center announced its 2026-27 Broadway season Tuesday. The lineup features a slate of 10 shows, anchored by the classics "The Phantom of the Opera" and "The Sound of Music."

The intrigue: Six of the shows are making their Nashville premieres, including "Harry Potter and The Cursed Child," which extends the story of the mega-popular book series.

"A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical," Jan. 5-10, 2027
"The Phantom of the Opera," Feb. 3-14, 2027
"The Great Gatsby," March 5-14, 2027
"Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen," March 30 - April 4, 2027
"Harry Potter and The Cursed Child," April 27 - May 9, 2027
"Buena Vista Social Club," May 18-23, 2027

If you go: Season ticket packages covering those eight shows are on sale now, starting at $396.

Two shows coming to Nashville will not be included in season ticket packages. Those tickets will need to be purchased separately.

💭 My thought bubble: I went to see "The Phantom of the Opera" at TPAC when I was in second grade. It was a gateway to a lifelong obsession with musical theater.

I can't wait to see it again.
