615 Indie Live announced its final artist lineup for the all-day festival on Feb. 7.
State of play: The updated list of performers includes rising country artist Angie K and DJ/producer The Whooligan.
Between the lines: The festival, which is in its second year, launched to celebrate the city's independent musicians and venues. A roster of 60 artists will perform at 15 venues across Nashville.
Ticket proceeds will go to the advocacy efforts of the Music Venue Alliance Nashville.
Additionally, $2 from every ticket will go to the nonprofit radio station WNXP.
The big picture: One of the participating venues is The End, the beloved dingy old rock club, which had to launch a Go Fund Me campaign earlier this month in order to catch up on its bills.
What he's saying: "Independent venues are the backbone of our scene in the 615 and crucial incubators of our creative community," artist Lewis Stubbs Junior said in a statement. "A festival dedicated to lifting up the stages that lift us up every day isn't just an honor to be a part of, it's what Nashville is all about."
