Nashville is getting a head start on its holiday shopping: Metro Parks is looking for a city Christmas tree.
State of play: The department is looking for residents willing to donate an evergreen. Specifically, they are looking for a Norway Spruce that is 30-40 feet tall.
Bonus: Metro Parks will remove the tree and grind the stump before hauling it to Public Square Park.
If you have the perfect tree, call city horticulturalist Randall Lantz, at 615-862-8400 or email [email protected].
