The Nashville Zoo welcomed a female clouded leopard cub to the family last month.
State of play: The cub, which is currently the size of a small teddy bear, was born on July 18.
She was the 45th clouded leopard born at Nashville Zoo since 1991.
Zoom out: A cub born at the zoo earlier this year died, underscoring the challenges facing the declining species.
What they're saying: "Seeing another clouded leopard litter born this year makes us hopeful for the survivability of the species," veterinary services director Heather Schwartz said in a statement.
If you go: Visitors can see the cub at the HCA Healthcare Veterinary Center.
