The Nashville Sounds will honor city's Negro Leagues history with a unique promotion on June 21.
Sounds players will wear jerseys to honor the Elite Giants, the Negro Leagues team that called Nashville home.
There will also be a Butch McCord jersey giveaway for the first 1,000 fans. A Nashville native, McCord was a Negro Leagues star.
The Sounds' First Horizon schedule is full of creative promotions, but we're partial to Tito's Tail Waggin' Tuesdays, in which fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark.
Nate will be on hand for the Sounds' homestand against the Iowa Cubs, who are full of top prospects for the Chicago Cubs.
Outside of promotions, Sounds pitcher Jacob Misiorowski is a fireballing prospect worth the price of admission.
If you haven't been recently, the area around the ballpark is expanding with the completion of the Starling residential tower and retail development including Retrograde Coffee.
