It's been a long time since the Titans had the top pick in the NFL Draft — so long, in fact, that it happened before the franchise moved to Nashville and became the Titans.
Zoom in: The team, which was previously known as the Houston Oilers, nabbed the No. 1 spot in 1978. They selected running back Earl Campbell, who remained on the roster through 1984.
Zoom out: The Oilers relocated to the Volunteer State in 1997 and played under the puzzling name the Tennessee Oilers for two years before switching to the Titans in 1999.
