Nashville airport adding a direct flight to Ireland in 2025

Flashback: The airport has invested heavily in its international aspirations. A year ago, a new international arrival area opened with space for six gates big enough to accommodate larger flights.

Zoom in: Nonstop flights to Dublin will begin April 12, 2025, on Aer Lingus. Fares start at $499.

What they're saying: "Strong musical traditions have connected Nashville and Ireland for many years, and we've been working with tour operators and media there to promote Music City for the past decade," Deana Ivey, president and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, said in a statement.

• "This new Aer Lingus route will continue to open access to other key European markets, which is another reason we aggressively pursued nonstop service to Dublin this past year."
